sworegon.org is designed as a historical and cultural bookshelf, as a place to go for information about "The Land of the Oregon Myrtle".  It is filled with current lore, with what is going on now.  It also explores the context, the roots, the history, heritage and achievements of Southwest Oregon.

The Land of the Oregon Myrtle stretches north from where the Redwoods leave off and south from the giant Oregon Dunes.  Brookings and Florence are gateways along the coast.  Roseburg and Winston, Drain, Elkton and Sutherlin are gateways from the I-5 corridor.
